AACC Offers Free Income Tax Preparation
Volunteers Can Electronically File State and Federal Taxes

Anne Arundel Community College is once again offering free income tax preparation to area residents. All tax volunteers have passed training exams required by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

To qualify, residents need to have total income of less than $54,000 in 2015. The volunteers will prepare federal and Maryland returns including for those taxpayers that itemize their deductions. Returns will be filed electronically, and refunds can be direct-deposited to the taxpayer’s bank account.

All income tax returns are by appointment on either Wednesdays from 5 to 8 p.m. or Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon. To make an appointment, and to get further information about this free service, contact Patricia Harral, 410-777-2390. The college is closed for spring break March 14-20.
