Commercial Energy Co-op

New Enrollments - Members Joining the Co-Op Seeking a New Contract starting in November/December 2011

Members who have not previously joined the Commercial Co-op are invited to join the Chamber's Energy Co-Op to reduce energy costs starting this spring. Market prices are at record lows and the feasibility of obtaining lower prices is possible for the next 36 months.

Register Here to start the application process. Application Fee is now just $150.00...period. This covers both your electricity and natural gas accounts for all your locations! The application deadline for the next co-op program is October 12th, 2011 by 5pm.

We will be holding two free, no-obligation informational sessions at the Chamber office to explain the program and answer any questions. The first will be on Monday, October 3rd at 9 a.m., and the second will be on Wednesday, October 5th at 4 p.m. Please RSVP to the Chamber office by emailing admin@westcountychamber.org or calling 410-672-3422 so we know how many to expect.

If you can't make either meeting, you may wish to participate in an optional webinar informational briefing. These are held every Wednesday in September at 12 noon. To see a complete list of dates and to RSVP visit www.cqiassociates.com on the homepage and just click on the date you wish to attend. An invitation will then be sent automatically to you with instructions to participate.

If you have any questions about the application process, contact
joe@cqiassociates.com or call the CQI Customer Service line at 410-740-0667. CQI Associates will get back to you within 24 hours. We appreciate your patience and we will help guide you through the process.

It is critical that you provide all the information requested above if you are in a current electricity or natural gas commercial supply service contract. You could be subject to penalties and fees by your current or future third party electricity or natural gas supplier if you were to enroll into electricity or natural gas contract before your contract ends with your current third party supplier. CQI Associates, LLC and/or the Chamber of Commerce are not liable for any fees or penalties incurred by not providing accurate information requested above.

Participation in the Cooperative REQUIRES continuous membership in the Chamber of Commerce during the full term of the Agreement. If your membership is not current with the Chamber, you must bring your account current to participate in this proposed contract extension. Submission of the application for participation in the cooperative does not include fees for membership in the chamber. If your membership is not current the application for cooperative participation will not be processed.

The application fee pays for the administrative costs of the energy purchasing cooperative and selecting a licensed energy supplier who is offering to sell the electricity or natural gas at a lower price than the utility Standard Offer Service Rate offered by the local utility company. Application fees are not refundable.
