Under Construction

After 40 years of waiting, the Odenton Town Center is finally Under Construction – check out some of the great projects that are underway, recently completed, or in the planning process!

1. The Seven Oaks Office Building offers nearly 69,000 sf of Class A office space adjacent to Ft. Meade. The building is complete and ready for interior fitout.

2. Meade Center, also directly across MD175 from Ft. Meade, will include 25,000 sf of Class A office space, 18,000 sf of retail, and 15 corporate apartments. The building is pre-leasing now, and final development approvals have all been obtained.

3. Behind Meade Center, Berger Square will offer 48 residential condominiums.

4. Broadstone at Odenton Town Center is a 212,000 sf apartment complex with a community clubhouse and outside memberships.

5. Alta at Odenton Town Center will include 315,000 sf of residential (175 apartments) and 15,000 sf of retail.

6. Independence Park at Odenton Town Center is a 128-acre, multi-phased, mixed-use development that will eventually include over 3.5 million sf. The first phase includes two 150,000 sf office buildings and a parking garage.

7. Town Center Commons includes 240 townhomes (leasing now, first buildings under construction) and a hotel site

8. The Village at Odenton Station is Anne Arundel County’s first transit-oriented development, and when completed it will have 235 apartments and 60,000 sf of retail. Occupancy expected in Spring 2012, retail leasing now.

9. Odenton Square is a joint venture between the county, state, and private developers, and will include a mix of retail, office, residential, and structured parking to replace the current surface parking at the MARC Station.

10. Walgreens Pharmacy is planned for the current site of Rieve’s Deli – the existing building, which has been declared historically significant, will be relocated to the rear of the property.

11. Academy Yard is a 55-acre mixed-use development on the site of the former Nevamar industrial plants. Its first phase will be a 369-unit apartment complex, with future phases including retail, additional residential, and possibly office space.

12. The Courts at Bonaventure are a recently-completed townhome development in East Odenton.

13. The Odenton Health & Technology Center offers 64,000 sf of office – pre-leasing now.

14. 
    Odenton Gateway includes a 60,000 sf medical office building, two retail pad sites, and The Haven at Odenton Gateway, a 252-unit apartment complex.
